November - second half

Mon 14 Nov 2022 11:08:28 PM CST : 1668488908

Always good to get things settled. Winter comin' and be stayin' a lot. Even if it wasn't the weather goin' into town and mingling with people is to be avoided. No more flu shots. Yewstabe I'd get one, it was a crapshoot, 50-50 or so, but no way of knowin' what's in them now. People droppin' like flies and it's increasing. Like the buffalo hunters, go out I heard tell, who knows, they'd take their Sharps rifles out and go to shootin' the big old thangs, herds of them, just shoot'em till the gun was too hot and had to cool down. Dunno if any of that's true, but reliable accounts say that they'd shoot one, the others just stand around munching grass and dropping producin' fuel for indigs in some places.. Didn't run off when they heard a loud bang and one of their fellows just dropped dead, just stood there, if they was next then they was. Skeeter Skelton told a humorous story that reminds me of that, wish I could find it. But my old gun magazines are all long gone.

The socio-geo-political situation will have to wait. Do some graphics for it. Got the likker and seegar situation set, couple of suppliers for the tobacco ship it in. Likker still got to drive up town, always stay well stocked though. Don't drink that much and if the weather keep people from dropping by so much, won't be a problem.

Speakin' of likker and seegars, it's done midnight. Cloud cover low, won't be seein' any aircraft to night. Catch ya later.

OK, 15 November supposed to be important for some reason, in a personal way, but the only one I can think of ain't important. Sorry youknowwho. What'd I say? Oh yeah, the world thing. I'm obviously no artist, and if you don't believe me... I can't even butcher someone else's pics. In any case, here we go. While people here at home are wondering where it will end, the globalist cabal seemingly having it firmly under control. The Republicans made very small gains, and the likelihood of improvement in 2024 is if not south of zero it's right on the line. There are still pockets or resistance, Italy recently, and the in the non-EU Europe, and the red states here. But ultimately it is likely to become a choice between armed resistance and going quietly into the darkness.

Resistance would likely consist of the red regions - either a south geographically resembling the Confederacy and the northwest a separate coalition. My friend Alex is exploring that in Balance of Power, written after but occupying the same time frame as MacArthur's Freehold (a solution I prefer if one or the other occurs). The only "peaceful" solution I can see is submission, and about 30 million or so individuals aren't going for that, potentially a bloodier and longer affair. But while I am not into eschatology I am aware that some (whether more or less now than in my youth - about 50 years ago) believe that the USA is either not relevant or no longer extant. I suspect there may be something to that. Accordingly:

BRICS is now BRICSIA, or BRICSIA+ to some, indicating that growth is expected, and is likely to expand. The USA and NATO are in decline, economically and militarily, and the decline in the quality of the population makes it unlikely that the trend will be reversed. Before long BRICSIA+ will dominate the world economically and with the globohomo regime irrelevant, it will most likely dissolve.

Thus the election is a matter of concern for us, both those who seek a way to save the Republic and consider how to survive it we fail and those who are working for its destruction. While it would be amusing, if the worst happens, to see the enablers and cheerleaders experiencing the fate of their predecessors, they are in the end hardly worth the effort. Spitting on the grave of a wicked person who harmed you and then went on to his reward before you may be fun, but I probably won't do it in the future.

Who? Trump? He announced his candidacy for president yesterday, as expected. I expect him to be indicted, and possibly, no probably run through a kangaroo court and convicted of something or other. The left really is that evil and that stupid and that desperate. Especially evil. And stupid. But truly smart evil people are rare, something to be thankful for.

No idea what will happen. He's a wild card, and there's no way to know if he will return to save the Republic or push it past the point at which it is permanently broken. There is some sort of aura there, but I don't know what it means. If he gets as far as the nomination, expect the deep state to have a Lee Harvey Oswald or John Warnock Hinckley Jr. (assassins and wannabe assassins got to have three names, donchaknow?) ready to deploy. Probably more than one to be on the safe side. Can't take the chance that like a "mass shooting" it doesn't necessarily have to be on time. They can set those up and toss'em out there and see which ones stick, but this is the big time.

Fri 18 Nov 2022 11:19:57 PM CST

Dang, Friday already? Doin' nothing makes the time fly.

That's Lavrentiy Beria of course. One of them Russians I always have trouble writin' the name. Bunch of'em really. Once in a while I read about his execution, just for fun. 'course we got our own wannabe now. That could be scumbag puppet Attorney General, whose name shall not defile these electrons and magnetic spots.

Man I love Conservapedia, and InfoGalactic too. If you don't like givin' wicked-peed-on-ya (just thought that one up, what took so long? Maybe the likker. Tellya 'bout that in a minute.) exposure use those in your writing. Basically they're Wickedpedia with facts instead of disinformation. The idea that he might one day meet a similar end is a nice thought.

The likker? In a minute. First...

What else was I gonna talk about? Trump I guess. Why not? So we got our own Stalin wannabes, looking like they're starting on his purge already, even though they conditions are nowhere close. Stalin had complete control of the country, he had already killed millions (Operation Covid did kill a few million, but it was mostly sheeple. The most likely resistance didn't take the slab jab.) The remaining 20-30 million (probably more who are armed and prepared to survive having food and other supplies cut off will not go quietly. Such an operation as they envision simply cannot be accomplished. It would likely fracture the country, as I have observed, but in no way to they accomplish their objective of herding all 400 million into the darkness.

Nevertheless they continue in their amateurish way. The Jan 6 show trials (now defunct due to the dims having lost the House) have close to a thousand in prison with little prospect of freedom unless the presidency is restored to sanity in 2024. And the Department of Injustice, mostly through the FBI arm, continues to arrest innocent citizens for other non-existent crimes and imprison them in their gulags. The question is, will there be a correction in 2024, if it gets worse for another two years?

I considered, after the election and the failure of the Red Wave to occur, if we are better off if it didn't happen this time. Well, maybe, if it does come in two years. The problem is, the blue states are bluer than before, and the reds redder. And the commies have lock on the blues, both through the corruption (intellectual and moral) of the population and the control of the voting process guaranteeing that where fraud is needed it will occur without consequence. The prospects for the free states overcoming don't look good. But if it isn't fixed two years from now, and in a big way, the Republic is probably over.

Of course that is being decided at a higher pay grade than ours, and I know the final result will be what it should be. So I prepare to survive in the interim, and to assist those close to me in doing so. Oh yeah, Trump. He could hasten the final big explosion by, having failed to obtain the nomination attack the nominee and the party, guaranteeing a dim victory, or possibly form a third party and pull a Ross Perot act, again guaranteeing a loss to the Republicans. Would he do either or both? Sadly, I can see him doing the former, and possibly the latter as well. And with chances for a Republican victory already somewhat dim, well, it don't look good at all.

Of course he could do the best thing for all and not run, vigorously support the nominee, and work to put as many Republicans as possible in Congress. And maybe, maybe, there might be a chance to hold off the darkness for another decade or so. But with the unwillingness of Republicans to perform a purge of their own, a justified one - that is, aggressive prosecution of the hordes of evildoers who have been protected by the corrupt Ovomit and Xiden regimes, taking a lot of them off the streets and scaring those that remain into sitting down and shutting up. Unfortunately, it would take someone like Trump AND an administration of similar types. I have difficulty seeing it happen.

Of course, the regime might solve the problem by making it impossible for Trump to run, then he wouldn't blame the party and might well work harder to elect their candidate to get revenge. Or they might indict him (probably will) and make him more likely to win. But that one's iffy. And the Supreme Court is unlikely to affirm such a ruling. So it's really up to him to do what is best, and I don't know if he can do it. So we'll see when we see.

The likker? OK, I done a bad bad thing I reckon. You go in the likker store, there's fruit flavored everything. Whiskies or whiskeys whichever. Vodka. Don't drink that. Dunno why anybody does. Except Russians. Rum. Don't drank that either. Tequila? Okey-dokey, stickin' with whiskey. But then, I's gettin' some of my favorite Canadian brands, there it was. Black Velvet. Peach. Seen it before a time or two, didn't pay it any mind. Regular for me. But I got some. Pretty good, not necessarily hugely better, but OK. Them bourbons with all the flavors still get me though. And the classics, Jim Beam and Jack Daniels done gone over to the dark side. Times change, as Big Jake liked to say.

Thing is, my favorite fictional character these days being Baer Creighton, and he a maker of fruited moonshine. Afore he became one serious avenging angel and bein' on the road a lot, avengin' over a big area, he had to leave his still behing. So he swills Wild Turkey whenever he can get it, which seems to be pretty regular. So I guess I'll go with the flow. Of course, somebody said a dead fish can do that.

If I can get this other thing taken care of, get the important book finished, I'll be OK. 'night.

Mon 21 Nov 2022 10:36:31 PM CST

Might as well put this here. Should talk about the crypto crash, since it ties in with this. As all events are intertwined these days. But first, lemme give a shoutout to Mr. Heater. Got of few of these (the Buddys, or is it Buddies?) and some of them are several years old never had a problem with'em. Used a couple at my place up north, old cabin out in a pine grove, guess the pines grew up around it from the looks, and they was BIG. Cabin well built I guess, fixed the winders and doors, put on a new metal roof, structure was sound. Had to cut a road to get the trucks in with the materials, so guessed no one had been in there much for quite a few years. Folks I bought it from said it was their father's, hunted there. And he'd been disabled for years afore he died another nine or ten years ago. Lot of places in this country for the government to go find them of us as don't want to go quietly when the time comes. Just findin'em be a major job, gettin' there more work, and you got guys with .300 Winmags lookin' at you 600 yards out...

Which brings us to our beloved once upon a time when it looked like things might be gonna be OK president and his probable future.

Just to play around a bit with Trump scenarios - no point really.

He's one of those guys Captain Willard said about Colonel Kilgore "He was one of those guys that had that weird light around him. You just knew he wasn't going to get so much as a scratch here."

There's a weird light around Trump, but I don't know what it means. He is a completely, for lack of a better term, unforeseeable uncalculatable factors. It's possible even he doesn't know what he's going to do next.

So let's throw out a couple of ideas.

1. Because of one or two or more factors (probably more than one) he decides not to run at all. Even though he has declared, until the campaign is underway he can change his mind. If he is set on that course, no matter the consequences, probably only his wife and sons Eric and Donald Jr. would be able to persuade him.

While the probablility of Republicans ever winning the presidency (or even one house of Congress after this one) again is low, if Trump bows out and uses his considerable influence in all the races where it is useful, it could happen. I believe that the election and the character of most of the population is too corrupt for that, but who knows?

Staying out and playing kingmaker could leave him with a better legacy than he could achieve by being president for another four years, but he probably would require considerable persuasion.

2. If he continues on his apparent intended course, loses in the primaries, and backs the eventually winner and again, works to elect him and Republicans in congressional races, he can retire from the field afterwards with honor and the respect even of many who do not respect him now.

Again, persuasion is necessary. How much? It depends on whether he arrives at the same conclusion and is ready to be persuaded.

3. If he gets the nomination, election is unlikely. As I said in above, without support that can overcome the fraud and lack of enthusiasm, both the presidency and most congressional races will be lost. And attacks by the federal government will continue and intensify. The likelihood of him actually being arrested and jailed at some point, possibly even after being nominated, although it is more likely to happen before. The insanity and corruption of this regime is beyond calculation, as much as trying to figure out Trump's mind.

So what's best for the Republic? (1) is best, (2) isn't so bad, although an ugly primary battle gives the enemy a lot of ammunition for the general and (3) is a disaster.

That's how it looks today anyway. Things can change fast, and these days often do.

About all I can add to that is that it's probably out of Trump's hands. It looks an awful lot like the regime is going to indict and arrest him, and they may go too far and actually rush through a trial and conviction and send him to prison. I agree with my friend, they really are that crazy.

A while back I was watching videos on commietube and there were some of guys shooting wild hogs. They shoot'em from helicopters a lot, and lemme tell you, shootin' from a prone position with a bipod and having all the time in the world is hard enough past a few hundred yards. These guys out at night, hogs out there couple hundred yards, you shoot one and the others take off. Unlike Skeeter's rabbits. Once the first one went down and the others was movin' they'd get another two or three before they were out of range. One shot, one hog. These just regular guys, know a few of them. I'm decent, fifty-plus I oughttabe, but these guys. Millions of them. Hope it doesn't go that way, but I want it to go the other way a lot less.

So that's that. Keeping Trump out of the contest is one thing, even rigging another election. These people won't act until they have no other options.

It's gettin' late, gonna go out on the back deck for a midnite seegar. Did the screen room thing, helps a little with wind, but still cold. One of the little Buddys a couple of feet from the chair, pretty nice.

Talk about that other shootin' thing tomorrow. Maybe. Buenas noches, amigos.

Alright, was gonna talk about a couple of things. That being one. Had to use Yandex to find a decent pic. Hafta use Yandex to find anything useful. For the next part I googled "known wolf", just like that in quotes, and found stuff about wolves. Nothing about the known wolves of the killings conveniently occurring often enough to keep the anti-second-amendment folks supplied with new subject matter. Yandex shows you stuff like this: Apparently the term 'known wolf' was coined by the brilliant Mark Steyn, who is also as hilarions as he is smart. Listening to an your of him on Dennis Miller's show back in the day I needed to be squeegied off the floor occasionally.

I'll get to the wolf thing in a minute. First..

A big nasty financial scam apparently designed to generate revenue to finance the manipulation of the 2022 elections, crashed immediately afterwards. Looks like they weren't planning on it, as the $400 million they put into the enemies of the Republic was projected to be a cool billion in 2024. Toss that into the basked of omens, for whatever it's worth.

Thing is, people saying it may be the end or crypto. Never bought into it myself, being more interested in surviving and getting through this life without bothering other people. Figured eventually either it would do what some people think it's about to do - vanish entirely or become a fringe activity for those who can afford it, kinda like gambling, which it is - or be completely take over by either national governments or the much-dreamed-of world government that isn't looking too likely these days and used for control of their populations. Probably they'll still try that. Where it ends up I don't know any more that I did when it began, and probably no one else does. They wanna put their money on the table and take their chance, go for it.

The wolves? Oh those. Similar to my idea that many of the mass shootings are engineered. In the 'known wolf' cases it's easier - they just see a guy they know is gonna blow soon, and make sure he doesn't get arrested or if does they cut him loose, as many times as necessary.

The planned ones are more like the "pedophile hunters" who troll the bowels of the internet looking for someone who looks like they might want to commit indecent acts with minor children, and entice them into a meeting with the supposedly exploitable victim, only to either be recorded on video for public shaming or arrested if the "hunters" are law enforcement. Mostly it's vigilantes looking for attention. Law enforcement seems to be interested in other things, especially the feds.

Often the ones who are arrested are not charged, for various reasons. Improper procedure, entrapment, little stuff like that. And most are found not to have a record of offenses. Why? Because the hardened predators are too careful to be caught that way, and have other means of finding victims. The silly perverts (who certainly are in some cases potentially harmful, if they ever try to act out their fantasies) who finally succumb to the entrapment are far less dangerous than the career criminals.

What does this have to do with 'mass shootings' that scream for more 'gun control' if it saves even one life. At this point a mass shooting still has at least two victims.

Suppose you're a fed working to advance the demise of the Republic. Manufacturing incidents for 1) 'news' media propaganda and 2) arrests of alleged perpetrators for show trials. Fednapping and fedsurrections are regularly used for this, but how do you manufacture a mass shooting?

Just as the "pedo hunters" attempt to entrap perverts, the feds (primarily but they may have help from state and local authorities in some places) look for mentally unstable people the same way the no doubt well-meaning vivilantes look for perverts. With their resources (think thousands of agents lurking in social media venues 24/7) and finding candidates. Favorite is a young (white male naturally - watch what happens when one these things happens organically and the perp is a POC or LWNJ - it doesn't last long) who says things that look a little loopy, watch'em. See if they may be movin' towards the edge, so you can push'em over. Like the guy standing on a window ledge a dozen floors or so up, some people down there yellin' "Do it!".

Now think about being a fed spectacle engineer, makin' these things happen. So you see Dylan or Liam sayin' stuff like how he persecuted at school by the jocks, or some teacher hate him for on reason and picks on him, them girls call him a creep and tell lies about'em. Get enough info to ID as a possible mental case, even a borderline you can push over. Some of those can be better, more unexpected.

You make contact (however it happens to work in that particular venue - sometimes it's just a matter of leaving comments. Doing it under several different identities reinforces their inclination to do something.

Of course you're doing several at any time, in different locations around the country. So when this one blows, you have a pretty good chance of a copycat or two. Or three.

Just a thought...

Whenever we have these affairs, do this to humor some inquiring minds. Impound the phones, computers, and all personal effects of the perp. This stuff almost invariably gets seized and examined to some extent. Put it all out there, forensic examination of all digital devices, browser caches, email communications, all of it. Thoroughly. Have an independent investigation, meaning independent of any government - federal, state, or local. Include dissenting parties. If there's nothing to be found, indicating deliberate incitement by parties representing some government agency (including private citizens being recruited for the job) or activist organizations then you can call me a nut. Won't be the first time.

Who am I kidding? I'll probably have the door kicked in any day for talkin' about it.

I guess Howard said that before Heinlein said that "an armed society is a polite society", since he died about the time the latter began his writing career. 'course, REH might not have said (written) it, as there's probably about 10-20 times as much Conan writin' done by later authors, when Howard became immensely popular. BEFORE the movies, it was the paperback explosion from the 1960s onward that did that. Some of the books I bought back them were under a dollar. Fifty cents was a common price when I was in high school, with seventy-five for longer ones. Believe I paid .95 for my first Ballantine Books LOTR set. Three books though, a good bit of lunch money. Wouldn't be surprised if some of my early Executioner and Destroyer books were under a dollar. Comics were twelve cents, btw. Except the supersized ones they'd put out about once a month. DC had their '80 page giant' at about a quarter if I recollect accurately. Now books are about dead, and what digital publishing didn't do inflation did. Probably a bit of greed in there I reckon. You can sell the electronic bits, that may or may not be around a generation or two from now for a pretty good price (and generally the buyer doesn't actually own them, just gets to use them) or you can sell the hard copy that'll be around for a long time. So someone wants that bad enough, get as much as you can.

Actually, he did write it. I used the google to check. Used the Wickedpedia article since they probably ain't lyin' about that yet, having plenty other stuff to lie about. And, nevermind, ain't got time for that now. I'll do a write-up later, if I ain't already.

So what I talkin' about? Beats me. Yesterday was Thanksgiving I guess. We still doin' that? Just kidding, my partner or whatever they call'em these days (should specify that she's a she, and I'm a he, you never know these days) had a quiet lunch with a bud from back in the day. Just him and his old lady and me and mine. Didn't do the turkey thang neither. Glad I went through (hopefully) the last of those a couple of years ago. Pizza, snarfing down Doritos while it was heatin' and the usual beverage. Non-alky btw, that's fer after dark. Few times I drink a soda or anything sugary these days. Only thing that goes with pizza except beer if you like that way. I don't.

Looks like it's gonna be rainin' a lot more. Hope so, tree plantin' easier when the ground is wet. The big picture looks like a holding pattern for a couple of years. Holding pattern on low fuel. Said back up there a ways I suspect the situation in our five percent of the world is about go become approximately that significant. Main thing I want is for the Republic to survice, ideally in one piece, and somehow get fixed. I've talked about those scenarios enough elsewhere, and just hope it'll be as non-violent as possible. People in my camp want it that way, but they ain't gonna live on their knees. And most of them aren't going to die alone.

So whether the fuel runs out or we at least get on the ground in one piece, hard to say at this point. If I was a pagan, with their signs and omens and all, I'd look at some of the recent "omens" as pointing in a positive direction. Butchaneverknow.

Sat 26 Nov 2022 09:55:51 PM CST

The above is from a blog which is apparently no longer being updated but fortunately remains extant for the time being. The article refers primarily to the Souain corporals affair of WWI, which served as the inspiration for the novel Paths of Glory, later adapted to film by Stanley Kubrick. Many believe, and perhaps I once did, that we have changed somewhat, and that such things can not happen now. Certainly at that level, whether in a military or civilian environment, people are not casually (legally) murdered and even punishing the guilty with death is rather uncommon. Compared to the volume of crimes meriting death, that is.

To be sure, massacres such as those at Waco and Ruby Ridge are now replaced with more deniable (usually individual) murders and mass incarcerations with show trials conducted before the dissenting citizens are sent to the gulag, we are not improved. In fact, given the deliberate destruction of our society from within, the wickedness of early 20th century European military officers is not only different in terms of motivation but easier to explain. The French affair was akin to the brutal Roman practice of decimation, and Europe was not so far is some ways from the medieval era, in which brutality did not even merit a raised eyebrow. In WWII the British were still executing soldiers for desertion, but the U.S. Army did not even though it was still on the books. In the case of Private Slovick he essentially forced them into it, and even then it was assumed at the trial that the sentence would be commuted as all others had been. (The Army did execute a number of soldiers for rape and murder during the war, and still maintains that option today. The Dirty Dozen shows an almost-accurate portrayal of such an execution in England, where most of them occurred.)

So we haven't come far, or perhaps we made progress but regressed. The present regime is, I believe, more monstrous than the European in the early 20th century, but whether the satanic cancer growing within us will be purged by some imminent (they better be imminent or it's gonna be bad soon) changes from elements beyond our control remains to be seen. As I say, I see what they heathen call omens are the bubbles forming on the bottom of a boiling pot. Wisps of steam are beginning to appear, but the surface remains smooth. The "omens" are the steam and the bubbles as yet clinging to the bottom, with one breaking free and rising to the surface only occasionally.

Okey-dokey. Smoke and a snort, off to bed. Catchyalater.

Tue 29 Nov 2022 11:18:20 AM CST

Just a couple of days left. Let's do this for now. The wicked Ahab had perished in battle with the Syrians, in a rather ironic fashion I suppose (I Kings:29-37) and his son succeeded him. Some years back I believed that Slick Willie and Crooked Hillary were our version of Ahab and Jezebel. Certainly they qualify in wickedness, and Slick allowing her to wear the pant(suit) in the family reminded me of them. But I didn't quite see the boundless corruption that would follow, and the degree of ineptiude that would accompany it. That incapacity may be what saves us.

We pick up the story as Jehu, having been surreptitiously been anointed by one of Elisha's assistants, now takes charge.

Jehu manages to get the insurrection underway, apparently without any leaks. So Joram is surprised, but apparently unnerved a bit. Whether going out to inquire personally, after the first two messengers had defected, was a good idea, but he did.

Probably Ahaziah's decision to visit his brother wasn't so wise. Yeah, he'd gotten banged up a little dustup with those Arameans, but maybe this wasn't the best time.

And now it's time for Hillary, sorry, Jezebel, to get hers.

Thirty days hath September, April, June, and November. If Unix had been around a few hundred years earlier the 'cal' command would print a calendar showing the adjustment made in 1752 when the Gregorian-Julian calendar reformation happened (the Pope was OK with that reformation, just not the other one) it would have looked like this:

Not bad. Had to do "cal 1752" in a shell and paste into a paint program. Alright, so if November hath just thirty days, let's say bye-bye. Ain't too happy about having to drive forty miles to get 7-UP in bottles, but I ain't drinkin' wokacola Sprite, since they went full-throttle commie-nuts and quit makin' the bottles green. Easier recycling, doncha know. Screwem. 7-UP taste better anyway, just Sprite was almost the same and always available. Get it together, Dr. Pepper whateverall y'all are now. Just get the stuff here. OK?

Talk about other stuff? Lessee, the perv (and we're talking major sickness goin' on here) in charge of something in nuclear energy department of the regime? Nah, not now. Place is a nest of pervs. We're talking a cesspool that rotted more than it's original input should be able to. Musk, he sure givn'em fits. Regime publicly threatening him. Wouldn't be surprised if extreme prejudice came into it. Seriously, they're that combination of stupid, insane, and evil to try it.

Guess I'll have a drink and a smoke here in a little while, go to bed.

Got a feeling we are.

Many of my images live only here or on one of the websites I and some friends run. Feel free to use my stuff. You should be able to match the text below to the images easily enough.

In that slaughterhouse of trench warfare, insubordination in the ranks met stern reprisals. Generals with no strategy but to make mincemeat of their countrymen could not well abide the meat's reluctance to be minced. Examples must be made, especially inasmuch as the impracticality of executing entire companies impressed even the brass.

Someone, on the executions of French soldiers in WWI

It has rightly been said that it is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees. Of course, if you nevertheless choose to live on your knees, you will still die eventually, after a rather pointless life.

Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without having their skulls split, as a general thing.

Conan of Cimmeria

The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. The moment the men who wanted to be left alone are forced to fight back, it is a form of suicide. They are literally killing off who they used to be. Which is why, when forced to take up violence, these men who wanted to be left alone, fight with unholy vengeance against those who murdered their former lives. They fight with raw hate, and a drive that cannot be fathomed by those who are merely play-acting at politics and terror. True terror will arrive at these peoples' door, and they will cry, scream, and beg for mercy... but it will fall upon the deaf ears of the men who just wanted to be left alone."

2 Kings 9

6 Jehu got up and went into the house. Then the prophet poured the oil on Jehu's head and declared, "This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: 'I anoint you king over the Lord's people Israel.

7 You are to destroy the house of Ahab your master, and I will avenge the blood of my servants the prophets and the blood of all the Lord's servants shed by Jezebel.

8 The whole house of Ahab will perish. I will cut off from Ahab every last male in Israel - slave or free.

9 I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam son of Nebat and like the house of Baasha son of Ahijah.

10 As for Jezebel, dogs will devour her on the plot of ground at Jezreel, and no one will bury her.'" Then he opened the door and ran.

"You've heard the example of boiling a frog, haven't you?" Gordon asked.

"Yeah." Jessica said. "Slowly. The way we've been taken over."

"There's another example that uses boiling water." Gordon said. "You've seen it, if you fill a pan with water, as if to boil eggs. As the water heats, you can see bubbles form on the bottom of the pan, nearest the heat source. A few, and then more. A lot more, and first one rises to the top. Then another, and more. And then suddenly..."

"The water is boiling."

"Exactly. The regime sees the occasional bubble, even sees them become more frequent. Then the whole thing erupts. And all the while, it never occurs to them to turn off the heat. Until it's too late."

MacArthur's Freehold (Enak Nomolos 2020)

2 Kings
_______________________________________________________________________

14 So Jehu son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi, conspired against Joram. (Now Joram and all Israel had been defending Ramoth Gilead against Hazael king of Aram,

15 but King Joram had returned to Jezreel to recover from the wounds the Arameans had inflicted on him in the battle with Hazael king of Aram.) Jehu said, if you desire to make me king, don't let anyone slip out of the city to go and tell the news in Jezreel.

16 Then he got into his chariot and rode to Jezreel, because Joram was resting there and Ahaziah king of Judah had gone down to see him.

17 When the lookout standing on the tower in Jezreel saw Jehu's troops approaching, he called out, 'I see some troops coming'.

'Get a horseman,' Joram ordered. 'Send him to meet them and ask, 'Do you come in peace?'

18 The horseman rode off to meet Jehu and said, 'This is what the king says: 'Do you come in peace?'

'What do you have to do with peace?' Jehu replied. 'Fall in behind me.'

The lookout reported, 'The messenger has reached them, but he isn't coming back.'

19 So the king sent out a second horseman. When he came to them he said, 'This is what the king says: 'Do you come in peace?'

Jehu replied, 'What do you have to do with peace? Fall in behind me.'

20 The lookout reported, 'He has reached them, but he isn't coming back either. The driving is like that of Jehu son of Nimshi - he drives like a maniac.'

21 'Hitch up my chariot,' Joram ordered. And when it was hitched up, Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah rode out, each in his own chariot, to meet Jehu. They met him at the plot of ground that had belonged to Naboth the Jezreelite.

22 When Joram saw Jehu he asked, 'Have you come in peace, Jehu?'

'How can there be peace,' Jehu replied, 'as long as all the idolatry and witchcraft of your mother Jezebel abound?'

23 Joram turned about and fled, calling out to Ahaziah, 'Treachery, Ahaziah!'

24 Then Jehu drew his bow and shot Joram between the shoulders. The arrow pierced his heart and he slumped down in his chariot.

25 Jehu said to Bidkar, his chariot officer, 'Pick him up and throw him on the field that belonged to Naboth the Jezreelite. Remember how you and I were riding together in chariots behind Ahab his father when the Lord spoke this prophecy against him:

26 'Yesterday I saw the blood of Naboth and the blood of his sons, declares the Lord, and I will surely make you pay for it on this plot of ground, declares the Lord.'Now then, pick him up and throw him on that plot, in accordance with the word of the Lord.'

27 When Ahaziah king of Judah saw what had happened, he fled up the road to Beth Haggan. Jehu chased him, shouting, 'Kill him too!' They wounded him in his chariot on the way up to Gur near Ibleam, but he escaped to Megiddo and died there.

28 His servants took him by chariot to Jerusalem and buried him with his ancestors in his tomb in the City of David.

29 (In the eleventh year of Joram son of Ahab, Ahaziah had become king of Judah.)

30 Then Jehu went to Jezreel. When Jezebel heard about it, she put on eye makeup, arranged her hair and looked out of a window.

31 As Jehu entered the gate, she asked, 'Have you come in peace, you Zimri, you murderer of your master?'

32 He looked up at the window and called out, 'Who is on my side? Who?' Two or three eunuchs looked down at him.

33 'Throw her down!' Jehu said. So they threw her down, and some of her blood spattered the wall and the horses as they trampled her underfoot.

34 Jehu went in and ate and drank. 'Take care of that cursed woman,' he said, 'and bury her, for she was a king's daughter.'

35 But when they went out to bury her, they found nothing except her skull, her feet and her hands.

36 They went back and told Jehu, who said, 'This is the word of the Lord that he spoke through his servant Elijah the Tishbite: On the plot of ground at Jezreel dogs will devour Jezebel's flesh.

37 Jezebel's body will be like dung on the ground in the plot at Jezreel, so that no one will be able to say, 'This is Jezebel.'
